Guillaume Fortin-Debigaré

Bio1

Born in 1985 in Montréal, he desired early in his life to become a game designer after playing Game & Watch Bomb Sweeper. He learned programming during elementary school thanks to his father and won several mathematical awards during his entire education. After completing his studies in computer science, he was diagnosed at 21 years old with Tourette's Syndrome. After a failed indie startup, he became a very successful QA tester, which led him to become one of the earliest employees of Eidos Montréal and work on some major titles including Batman: Arkham Asylum, Just Cause 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. He later became a programmer at Gameloft and worked on the Asphalt series along with a cancelled Unreal Engine game. At that point, his values were no longer compatible with those of the video game industry in general and decided to take his own path in life.
